Player to Staff Etiquette
- Always follow Staff’s direction, failure to do so can result in administrative action being taken on your account.
- Under no circumstances are you to seek out a staff member’s character in the server to discuss tickets/ooc issues. Unless they have instructed you to do so in a ticket.
- If you feel a staff member has misused their powers, then please make a ticket and it will be looked at and all other staff and the owner will address it fairly.
- Staff will never provide your evidence in a report to the party you are reporting. Everything you provide is held in confidence. The only time things would be passed along is with your permission.
- Staff have an Escalation protocol when it comes to punishments for server issues, this is meant as a guide and is at the discretion of the Staff Team, if a rule you have broken is severe enough you may be escalated to harsher punishments prematurely.
- You are expected to trust Staff’s judgment and discretion when it comes to handling your report, at no stage will we EVER disclose administrative action taken on any person’s account to you other than your own. Just because you don’t see the punishment, does not mean it hasn’t happened.
- If you feel a rule has been broken by another community member, do not just leave the situation or conduct yourself poorly. Allow the situation to play out, gather evidence via recording software etc, and make a ticket once it has concluded. Your standing with the staff team will be much better if you’ve taken the high road and not stooped to their level in “OOC exchanges”. Anything lost can be reimbursed.. We just need the proof.
- Punishments escalate in the following manner:
- Verbal discussions (for new members who have been in the server under a month)
- Community Service “Comms”
- Suspension
- Permanent Ban
The Staff team reserves the right to permanently ban any individual(s) from the community at any time if they are considered highly disruptive and/or break rules.
Owners decisions are FINAL on all rules and interpretations.
Microphone
A clear, working microphone is required to join the server. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to be in Discord voice chat, or any other type of voice chat programs when you’re roleplaying in the city. All voice chats must be kept to in-game communications.
Creative Roleplay Over Rule Technicalities
While rules are critical for maintaining fair roleplay, players should prioritize creative and immersive roleplay over immediately reporting technical rule violations. Reporting issues that don’t significantly disrupt the roleplay experience is highly discouraged. Our goal is to foster good roleplay, where mistakes can be addressed through said roleplay, or communication when appropriate. Management reserves the right to dismiss reports focused on strict rule interpretations.
Chargebacks Tebex
Attempting to chargeback items purchased from Monarch RolePlay Tebex store will result in a permanent ban from the community and also a permanent ban from the Tebex platform. To appeal a chargeback ban, all outstanding balances must be paid but unfortunately all privileges to purchase from any Tebex store across any server will be permanently revoked, to learn more about Permanent Tebex store bans due to filing false chargebacks, please contact Tebex at support@tebex.io.

No Racist Remarks / Remarks Against or Harassment Regarding Someone’s Protected Class
Making comments directed towards someone’s race, gender, religion, creed, sexual identity, speech impediment, and all other protected classes. The use of the N-word with a soft “a” is allowable so long as it is not followed with an “er”. Any terms even with a soft “a” that may be deemed racist and/or derogatory manner, will result in a ban.
Random Deathmatch (RDM) / Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) Is not allowed:
Killing and/or attempting to kill anyone with any means without any roleplay intent/backstory. Shooting at a player without any initiation is considered RDM regardless if the player dies. Excessive ramming of your vehicle into other vehicles is not tolerated and is unrealistic. (Law Enforcement is excluded from VDM while actively engaging an armed suspect).
No Modding / Hacking / Glitching / Cheating
Using extra software and/or faults in software that allow you to do things that you wouldn’t have been able to do before in-game that typically is related to destructive purposes. Receiving blatant modified items, cash, or illegal items and attempting to stash/hide/conceal these items is also prohibited. If you come across anything that seems to be illegitimate or modified, report to Staff immediately or you will receive the same punishment.
Combat Logging is not allowed
The intentional leaving of the server or scene of a roleplay situation via any method to avoid roleplay consequences for your actions and/or intentionally changing characters to avoid roleplay consequences. It is best to wait 10-15 minutes after an active scene before changing characters. (F8)
No Violence Against EMS/Fire Personnel / AI EMS is Also included!
The intentional harming, pushing, shooting at, taking hostage of, and/or killing of, EMS/Fire personnel, is strictly prohibited.
Talking Out Of Character (OOC)
Staying in character is always required. Terminology can be used for that originates outside of the roleplay setting. Though we do know this is going to happen from time to time.
Fail Roleplay (FRP)
Fail RP is defined as conducting actions in roleplay that are unrealistic in nature and wouldn’t generally happen in real life. Citizens should act as if all actions committed are in real life. Examples of FRP include, but are not limited to:
– Taking a friend or gang member hostage.
– Fleeing while on foot or bike with a gun aimed at you.
– Comply or die.
Meta Gaming Is not allowed
When any game information outside is being used to give a player an advantage in the game. Ex: Discord calls, text chats, screenshares, streams, or any other form of communication that is being used other than the in-game radio or the in-game phone.
Do Not Cop Bait
If your motive for doing something is “I wanna get caught by the police” or “I wanna get into a police chase,” then you’re cop baiting. Intentionally trying to get a cop’s attention by speeding by someone multiple times, stopping at or near an active traffic stop, or roleplay scene where police are actively engaged with another player, spamming your horn, doing burnouts falls into this rule violation.
Injecting
Joining scenarios that are already in-progress, that you were not explicitly originally involved in is not allowed.
(If called on radio as long as you are not in hand cuffs/flat backed then that makes you involved.)
Server Economy Abuse
Exploiting or abusing loopholes in the server’s economy system for personal gain is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to manipulating prices, artificially inflating or deflating currency values, engaging in fraudulent transactions, or any other activity deemed as unfair advantage-seeking.
Sexual/Erotic Roleplay (ERP)
Conducting roleplay that is sexual in nature, including but not limited to the descriptive acting of any sexual action, is allowed. Nude peds in any form shall not be visible to the public eye or be worn in public places. Nude peds are only to be used while in a closed environment such as your house or a strip club. Such actions are not allowed without the clear and explicit consent of all parties involved.
Negative or Disruptive Behavior
Negative, disruptive, or toxic behavior towards the server, community & staff members is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to harassment, personal attacks, bullying, or engaging in any behavior intended to create a hostile or unwelcoming environment.
Low Effort Killing
Repeatedly or indiscriminately killing other players or characters without valid roleplay reasons or proper engagement is prohibited. Players are expected to engage in meaningful roleplay interactions and provide reasonable justifications for any acts of violence within a scenario. Mindless killing or using killing as a primary means of interaction without regard for roleplay immersion and storytelling detracts from the overall experience of players. Violations of this rule also include examples of invalid reasons to kill other players:
Someone is talking shit towards you, your friends, or your organization
Getting into a car crash with someone
Excessive Torture Roleplay
Engaging in excessive torture roleplay is prohibited unless consent is obtained from all parties engaged in such roleplay scenarios. This includes but is not limited to graphic descriptions or depictions of torture, prolonged scenes of physical or psychological harm inflicted on characters, or any content that may be deemed excessively violent or disturbing.
Death Amnesia Rule
Any information and knowledge obtained from a scene that resulted in your immediate character death must be forgotten by your character. Players are prohibited from involving themselves in that specific interaction/scenario thereafter.
Police Response Opportunity
Players are required to give law enforcement officers an opportunity to respond before engaging in major criminal activities. Furthermore, consecutive major crimes should be avoided to allow for a balanced and realistic gameplay experience.
Realistic Vehicle Usage
Players are prohibited from excessively using supercars or rare vehicles in an unrealistic manner. Additionally all vehicles must be driven realistically, particularly within city limits and when interacting with other players.
Power Gaming
Involves forcing actions upon other players or manipulating the game mechanics for personal advantage without regard for roleplay immersion. Players must prioritize realistic and cooperative roleplay interactions, avoiding actions that disrupt the integrity of the game world or unfairly impact other players. It is up to Staff Team members to decide what is considered Power Gaming. Some examples include but is not limited to:
Transferring money or items between characters, referred to as “cousins”
Using information acquired through illegitimate means such as discord, alternate characters or other 3rd party resources is strictly prohibited. Your character only knows what they have found/heard first hand in character. This includes any voice chats/text chats and images.
You cannot attempt to pass an item to somebody to learn their name, nor can you use a cash register menu to identify them. You do not know the person’s name until you are verbally told In Character or by being given some other form of identifying documents.
You cannot simply identify someone wearing a mask or being concealed by voice alone. If you have identified the person before and know that they are wearing that exact outfit, then it is reasonable to assume you know them, but not by voice ID alone.
Just because you know certain locations on another character does not inherently give your other character that knowledge too, you are to play dumb and learn about it the proper way. Don’t just go to the place and think “what does this do” is a good enough path of “finding out IC”, use proper interactions to get this new character acquainted with that knowledge.
New Player Protection
Robbing players who have recently flown into the city under a week is strictly prohibited to avoid negative role-playing experiences that may deter them from engaging further. In the event of an accidental robbery involving a player with starter items, perpetrators must release them without taking anything to maintain fairness and encourage a positive start for new players.
Interfering With or Robbing Emergency Personnel
Interfering with any Emergency Services Personnel (Police/Fire/EMS) is strictly prohibited. These individuals are essential for maintaining a stable and functional role-playing environment. Interfering with their duties through robbery undermines the integrity of roleplay and is not tolerated. Stealing or disabling emergency vehicles, including EMS vehicles, must be supported by a legitimate backstory and reasoning.
Chain Robbing
Chain robbing stores, heists, players, etc. is defined as repeatedly robbing the same store, performing the same heist, or targeting multiple stores or players in quick succession without sufficient roleplay justification, which is strictly prohibited. Such back-to-back actions will fall under this rule. A minimum cooldown timer of 1 hour is required between each robbery or heist.
Prohibited Farming Practices
Engaging in activities that artificially inflate skill levels or bonuses by farming NPCs while AFK (Away From Keyboard) or using automated methods is strictly prohibited. This practice detracts from the genuine experience and integrity of gameplay.
Assassination/Hitman Roleplay
Assassination/Hitman roleplay is allowed under specific conditions to maintain the integrity of the roleplay experience. There must be a valid and roleplay-driven reason for the assassination, with appropriate justification and backstory along with a bounty being placed. Assassinations cannot be commissioned over minor disputes, jokes, or trivial matters. The player targeted must be aware that their character is at risk as part of the ongoing roleplay scenario( even if that is through rumors). No Monarch members are allowed to put hits or assassinations on other Monarch members!
Roleplay
Everybody RPs differently. Don’t dictate how someone else should roleplay just because you would do something or handle a situation differently than they would.
